The ideas everything else builds on.
These seven distinctions recur throughout the Zohar, in everyday practice, and across this site. You do not need to memorize them. Start with the one that sounds most like a question you are already living.
What are the core ideas of Kabbalah?
Kabbalah has a long list of ideas, but seven of them carry most of what a beginner needs. They explain why more never feels like enough, why the same problems keep repeating, why giving changes a person, and why trust has to be built, not borrowed.
Read them in any order. Each page is short, starts with a plain definition, and ends with something to try. If you are new, begin with Light and Vessel or Tikkun, then continue with the others. When a Hebrew word appears, the glossary defines it in one line.
These ideas are the foundation for the articles, the Zohar sections, and the Tikkun Quiz.
